Your brain may be the biggest obstacle to weight loss while dieting, according to a new study by researchers at the University of Cambridge.
The study identified a new mechanism where the body adapts to low caloric intake and limits weight loss in studies in mice. Researchers found that key brain cells act as a trigger to prevent the body from burning calories when calories are limited.
