AGRIBUSINESS: Feeding tomato waste to broilers for peak performance. Tomato waste may be used as ration ingredient in ration of broiler chicken in the breeding period from 29 to 42 days of age up to the level of 20% without harming weight gain and conversion of poultry. Raising broilers is typically a 42-day affair with a feed conversion of 2:1,with conventional feed, but supplementing the feed with tomato waste from 29 days to slaughter has shown considerable weight gain.
