The risk of infection through dog food can be reduced by following simple hygiene principles; 1) dont feed your dog in the kitchen. 2)wash hands immediately after handling dog food. 3) keep children away from dog food. 4)dispose of dog feces immediately. 5)Ensure the packaging,labeling and content of dog food can be ascertained. 6) note the source of your dog food. The risk of infection can be prevented totally by changing to home cooked meals,that are fresh ,nutritious and healthy.
